Hand-Woven Wampum Items By Tim!!
The glass wampum beads that Tim uses are historically correct and are manufactured by a company
that has been making and importing these beads to North America for 200 years. Patterns are adapted from
historical pieces, or can be made to your specifications. White is usually the primary background color with
purple as the pattern but the choice is yours. There is no difference in price.

The finished item lengths listed below are the length of the actual woven bead area. See each item for tie lengths.
Our woven wampum items are not backed with leather or wool. We have not found any reference
to it being done historically. If you want an item backed with wool or leather, please contact us for pricing.
We have made up some sample sections of woven wampum patterns to show some possible
pattern choices. Below is samples of leg tie patterns and wristband patterns.
These pattern sections can, of course, be put together into whatever order or style
you wish, as well as reversing the colors.

Our bracelets are woven 3, 5 or 7 rows wide. The length is approx. 6 to 7.5 inches, depending on the design.
Lengths are, of course, approximate and depend on the pattern.

HATBANDS!!

Above is a sample of wampum woven hatbands that Tim makes. They average approx.
24 to 25 inches,depending on the size of the hat, and are usually 3 rows wide.
It is woven on braintan thong. This picture shows one of our wampum hairties used as
an additional ornament. Price for above described size and width is $ 75.00 without ornaments.

We have two types of hairties; The woven wampum strip is approx. 6 to 7
inches long with a braided horsehair dangle (black,red or natural colored) and dyed red deerhair/brass cone on bottom.
The other type is several strands of strung wampum with red deer hair/brass cones on bottom. This style
also has a braided horsehair attached in either black, red or natural color.
The woven wampum hair tie is priced at $ 15.00 ea. and the strung wampum hairtie is priced at $ 10.00 ea.
